Bothell cracks ESPN’s top 25 rankings

Bothell’s boys’ basketball team debuted in the ESPN top 25 rankings this week at No. 25. The Cougars, the top-ranked team in Class 4A this year, are 13-0.

Bothell is led by Zach LaVine, Perrion Callandret and Josh Martin, a three-headed monster that has helped the Cougars cruise to this point. LaVine is averaging more than 28 points per game — and just scored 37 in a win against Woodinville — while Callandret is averaging more than 14 points and Martin is averaging about 13 points.
