Amy-Eloise Neale qualifies for Great Britain World team

Amy-Eloise Neale, a Glacier Peak senior who won three Class 3A state cross country championships over the past four seasons, has qualified for the Great Britain World Cross Country team.

Neale, who was born in England but moved to Snohomish when she was almost 2, finished fourth at the recent World Cross Trials in Birmingham, England to earn a spot.

The IAAF World Cross Country Championships are Sunday, March 24, in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Neal has also won multiple high-school championships in track and field and plans to continue her running career at Washington.
