ROOT SPORTS to televise “Game of the Week”

ROOT SPORTS will be airing a “Game of the Week” every week during the high school regular season.

According to a press release sent out toward the end of August, after the first Saturday of football, ROOT SPORTS will televise high school football on a Thursday night schedule for nine regular season games, as well as the WIAA District Playoffs and the 4A and 3A championship games. The slate of games is known as the ROOT SPORTS High School Football “Game of the Week” presented by Papa Murphy’s.

Each game of the week will have a debut airing, along with at least one replay, according to the release.

Here’s the telecast schedule (subject to change):
