Washington state football coach of the week
The Washington State Coaches Association and the Seattle Seahawks announced their winner for football coach of the week.
Here’s a description of the winners taken from the press release:
“Rory Rosenbach from Glacier Peak HS has been selected as the 3A/4A “Coach of the Week” for the Grizzlies 20-17 victory over Meadowdale. With the win, Glacier Peak captures the WESCO 3A South division title; and, sets up the WESCO 3A conference championship game against Marysville-Pilchuck and the top seed into the quad-district playoffs.
Ron Rood, long time coach of Concrete HS, is the selection for the B/1A/2A classification following the Lions 41-38 defeat of third ranked Darrington in a critical Northwest B11 game. The win keeps the 7-1 Lions in good position for post season play.”
