Friday night highlights

Here are some highlights from last night under the Friday night lights:

In Eastside Catholic’s 50-8 win over Cleveland:

-The EC defense held Cleveland to 69 yards total offense, while the EC offense had 401 total yards.

-The EC defense also had four interceptions and forced four fumbles, two of which they recovered.

In O’Dea’s 45-14 win over Nathan Hale:

-O’Dea’s Myles Gaskin rushed for 152 yards on seven carries and three touchdowns in the first half.

-O’Dea’s Jack Flor rushed for 82 yards on two carries, both of which resulted in touchdowns.

-O’Dea used the second half to give many players chances to say they played in the title game – throughout the game, O’Dea sent in three quarterbacks and had 16 ball carriers.

In Lake Stevens’s 53-49 win over Edmonds-Woodway:

-Lake Stevens’s Jacob Eason went 37-50 for 507 yards and six touchdowns.

In Issaquah’s 48-31 win over Redmond:

-Issaquah’s Jack Neary went 28-32 for 352 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He set the single-season school record for touchdown passes with 28.

-Issaquah’s Tommy Nelson had 14 catches for 204 yards and a touchdown. He set the school record for most catches in a game.
