Keenan Curran commits to San Jose State

Federal Way defensive back Keenan Curran has committed to San Jose State, announcing his decision via Twitter today.

Curran took his official visit to San Jose State the weekend after Federal Way lost in the state semifinals to eventual champion Chiawana. He tweeted on Dec. 8 that he had a wonderful visit, but was still undeclared.

Listed as a three-star prospect by Scout.com, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior also played quarterback for the Eagles. Scout.com lists his other offers as Air Force, Army, Idaho, Wyoming and Yale.

An Ivy League assistant raved about Curran’s athletic abilities in early December and was surprised he hadn’t been offered by a Pac-12 school.
