Rainier Beach stays undefeated with win in Hoophall Classic

Rainier Beach kept its national title aspirations alive with a 65-60 win over Bishop O’Connell (Va.) on Saturday in the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass.

The undefeated Vikings have no more out-of-state games on the schedule and return to Seattle late Sunday night to play O’Dea at the Unity in the Community Hoop Showcase at Garfield High School on Monday at 3 p.m. The game will be televised live on ROOT Sports.

David Crisp led Rainier Beach with 20 points.

You can read about the game here, and as it chronicles, the Vikings were able to win despite allowing Maryland signee Romelo Trimble to score 26 points. There is also a slideshow with the story.
