Bellevue’s Morgan Richey to walk on at UW

Another Bellevue product has given a verbal commitment to play for Washington. Offensive lineman Morgan Richey made the announcement Thursday afternoon that he would attend the UW as a preferred walk-on.

Richey is a 6-foot-5, 281-pound three-star prospect, as rated by Scout.com and was also considering Yale, UCLA, Utah and Penn.

Adam Jude has plenty more on his blog about Richey.

“It’s definitely exciting for me,” Richey told Jude in a phone interview. “I’ve always loved watching the Huskies growing up right across the lake, and this is really a dream come true.”
