Cedar Park Christian School hires Bill Marsh as football coach, assistant athletic director
PRESS RELEASE: Cedar Park Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Bill Marsh as Head Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at its Bothell campus. Marsh brings over fifteen years of coaching experience including eleven years as Head Coach at Eastside Catholic (1999-2009) where he compiled a 66-27 record while earning Metro League Mountain Division coach of the year honors five times. Marsh’s hiring happens to coincide with CPC’s expected move to the 1A/2A Cascade Conference next year. Cascade Conference schools have voted to accept Cedar Park Christian into the league subject to final paperwork being processed on Coupeville’s move from the Cascade Conference into the Olympic League.
Marsh inherits a 10 year old program coming off a 5-5 season in the 1A Nisqually League. “Bill’s enthusiasm, high school varsity head coaching experience, experience integrating youth football, and his strong desire to teach and coach in a Christian School setting made him a strong candidate. We look forward to Bill working on campus and becoming a part of the Cedar Park Christian community”, said Todd Lundberg, Athletic Director. Marsh spent the past 2013 season as Defensive and Special Teams Coordinator at Cedarcrest High School in Duvall.
