District 1, 2 titles will be decided tonight

Thought it was worth posting about today’s championship games, so here they are in all their glory (actually, there are just two).

KingCo 4A title game: Issaquah-Garfield at Juanita High School, scheduled tip of 8:15 pm.

- The teams split two regular season matchups, with Issaquah’s win handing Garfield its lone loss of the season. Issaquah has lost just two games against in-state opponents. The two previous contests were close games. The teams are both guaranteed regional berths and seeding is at stake (along with a championship, of course).

4A District 1 title game: Jackson-Arlington at Glacier Peak High School, scheduled tip of 8 pm.

- Jackson has lost just one game this season, to Lincoln, a top 3A team. It beat Arlington by 19 on Jan. 21, just one of two losses the Eagles have suffered. The other came to Stanwood, a top-ranked 3A team which has yet to lose this season.
