Rainier Beach to open practice to community

The Rainier Beach basketball team will open its practice on Wednesday to the community and wants to welcome all at 3:30 pm in the high school gymnasium.

The Vikings are participating in the Dick’s Sporting Goods High School National Tournament next week in New York City, which unofficially decides a national champion.

Rainier Beach will offer community members a chance to watch the team scrimmage, as well as opportunities to meet players and coaches and receive autographs.
