Rosters set for Saturday’s Northwest Shootout

The rosters are finally set for the 20th annual Northwest Shootout basketball All Star games set for Saturday in Oregon.

Here is the press release with the details:

The Multnomah Athletic Foundation will hold the 20th annual Northwest Shootout basketball All Star games on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Oregon. The event features boys and girls high school seniors from Oregon and Washington. The girls game starts at 4 p.m., followed by the boys game at 6 p.m.

This is a chance to watch the region’s top high school senior boys and girls compete for bragging rights. Some of the past high school players who have played in this tournament and went on to outstanding college and in some cases professional careers include E. J. Singler, Nate Robinson, Mike Dunleavy, Terrell Brandon, Rodney Stuckey, Kara Braxton, Adam Morrison, Fred Jones, Sheila Lambert, Shone and Jude Schimmel, Jillian Harmen and Lindsay Yamasaki.

Tickets for both games ($10 for general admission and $5 for students) are available at the door on game day, starting at 3 p.m.

In addition to being a competitive showcase of talent, the Northwest Shootout is a fundraiser benefiting the Multnomah Athletic Foundation.  The Multnomah Athletic Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides character and confidence-building opportunities with an emphasis on athletic participation for youth.  Our community grants and scholarship funding focuses on the Portland metropolitan area.
