Inglemoor High guard Alexandra Hagen has committed to play college basketball for the University of San Diego. The senior visited three schools: Utah State, Denver University and USD before making her decision. She was set to visit Oklahoma State and Santa Clara but cut those schools off her list after this weekend trip to USD.

Hagen, who stands 6-foot-1, helped Inglemoor make it to the state playoffs the last two years. Her team also won the KingCo Championship in 2013 and ’14. She averaged 12.8 points per game and shot 48 percent from the field as a junior. A standout in track and field, Hagen will only focus in basketball in college. She made it to states in the 300 hurdles and in the 4×400 relay last season and was offered scholarships in that sport.

Her collegiate goals are to make it to the NCAA playoffs and to become an orthopedic
surgeon.
