I woke up this morning to steady rain, and that made me think: I can’t remember a Friday night with significant rain yet this season. But sure enough, Weather.com says there’s a 60 percent chance of precipitation on Friday in Seattle, highlighting PM showers.
Will this affect what teams are trying to do on offense? Perhaps. Some coaches will tell you it makes no difference. At times, though, it’s hard to not notice it making it more difficult to handle a slippery ball. If it combines with wind, then the kicking game, at the very least, will be dealing with adverse conditions.
Either way, if you’re a fan, bundle up and get ready for the rain.
