The SPSL 2A gets a little crazy when looking at seeding scenarios.
* Update: Fife is 4-2 in league and Washington is 2-4.
Scenario 1: Steilacoom beats River Ridge – Steilacoom is in. In this scenario, Franklin Pierce (assuming they beat Washington) is the 1-seed. Fife is the 2-seed, Steilacoom is the 3-seed and River Ridge is the 4-seed. Fife-Steilacoom-River Ridge would be 5-2 in league, with nobody owning two wins over the other two teams, so it would go to the number draw conducted before season. In this scenario, Orting’s result vs. White River doesn’t matter.
Scenario 2: River Ridge beats Steilacoom, Orting beats White River. Steilacoom is OUT. In this scenario, Franklin Pierce is presumably the 1-seed, River Ridge is the 2-seed, Fife is the 3-seed and Orting is the 4-seed.
Scenario 3: River Ridge beats Steilacoom, White River beats Orting. Steilacoom is IN. In this scenario, Franklin Pierce is presumably the 1-seed, River Ridge is the 2-seed, Fife is the 3-seed and Steilacoom is the 4-seed.
There are obviously seeding scenarios that get messy if Franklin Pierce loses to Washington and/or Fife loses to Clover Park, but in terms of who is in/out, that’s how it shapes up.
