SPSL 4A volleyball tiebreakers tonight (Wednesday)

There was a lot of parity in the SPSL 4A North Division in volleyball this regular season.

That means ties, and tiebreakers tonight (Wednesday) as we had into the SPSL tournament, which begins Thursday.

Beamer, Kentridge and Tahoma shared the title at 8-1. Kentlake finished a solid fourth at 6-3, then there was a three-way tie for fifth between Kent-Meridian, Kentwood and Mount Rainier, all 4-5.

And in the South Division, Rogers and Graham-Kapowsin tied for third at 7-5. Since they split their regular-season matches, a full playoff match is set between them tonight (all sites and times below). Note that in the seven-team South, it was a double round robin, while each of the 10 North Division teams played each other only once.

Top-ranked Emerald Ridge (12-0) won the South title with Curtis (9-3) second. Bethel (5-7) took fifth.

There was a coin flip Tuesday to decide how the North teams would be placed into the mini-tiebreaker matches (best 2-out-of-3). Here is all of that info:
