Shadle Park’s Brett Rypien breaks state record

Shadle Park quarterback Brett Rypien broke the career passing yards record previously held by Skyline’s Max Browne this past Saturday. Rypien added 329 passing yards in a 35-20 loss to Mt. Spokane to give him a Washington record 13,044, besting Browne by 93.

Rypien also holds the state record for completions with 1,006. Rypien will attend Boise State next year.
