Season Snapshot: The top-ranked Cougars (12-0) have yet to be seriously challenged. Only Lindbergh has even come within 20 points of Cascade Christian, and that barely in a 42-24 victory back in September. Cascade Christian has outscored opponents 577-186 overall, meaning its average game score is 48.1-15.5 (a margin of 32.6 points a game).
Two to watch: RB Robert Terhune (5-10, 201, Sr.), averages 134.7 yards a game on the ground, having carried the ball 174 times for 1,615 yards and 20 TDs. QB Jaelin Goldsmith (5-10, 205, Sr.) can hurt defenses with his arm (100 of 150 passes for 1,834 yards, 18 TDs, 4 INTS) and his legs (54 carries, 547 yards, 7 TDs).
Coach: Randy Cornwell, 18th year, 106-79.
Season Snapshot: The Indians (12-0) scored less than 28 points just twice all season, in a season-opening victory over Cheney (12-10) and a week ago. Colville also has three shutout wins this year, all games in which it scored more than 50 points.
Two to watch: RB Colton Vining (5-10, 175, Sr.) finished with a team-high 133 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in a 20-14 semifinal victory over Cascade (Leavenworth). RB Journy Young (5-9, 170, Sr.) is the second half of the Indians’ one-two rushing punch.
