Holiday tournament schedule

  • The Seattle Prep boys’ basketball team heads to the East Coast Friday to play in the fourth annual Father George National Jesuit Christmas Classic at Georgetown Prep. The event takes place Dec. 27-29 in North Bethesda, Md. Prep, 5-3, takes on Regis of New York at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
  • The Mountlake Terrace Holiday Tournament at Mountlake Terrace High School starts Friday and goes through Tuesday, Dec. 30.
    Friday’s schedule (girls): 10:30 a.m.- Garfield vs Monroe; Noon – Stanwood vs. Inglemoor; 1:45 p.m. – Redmond vs. Lynden; 3:30 p.m.- Renton vs. Marysville-Getchell; 5:15 p.m. – Lakewood v.s Edmonds Woodway7 p.m. – TBD vs. Mountlake Terrace.
    Saturday’s schedule (girls): 10:30 a.m. – Kingston vs. Mountlake Terrace; Noon – Redmond vs. Edmonds-Woodway1:45 pm- Renton vs. Lakewood; 3:30 pm- Inglemoor v.s Monroe; 5:15 pm- Garfield vs. Marysville-Getchell; 7 pm – Stanwood vs. Lynden
    Monday’s schedule (boys):  1 p.m.- Centralia vs. Marysville Pilchuck; 3 p.m. –  Blanchet vs. Lynnwood; 5 p.m.- Lake Stevens vs. Bellingham; 7 p.m. – West Seattle vs. Mountlake Terrace
    Tuesday’s schedule (boys): 1 p.m.; 3 p.m.; 5 p.m.; 7 p.m.
  • Juanita Rebel Challenge: This is a girls-only tournament at Juanita High School taking place from Dec. 27-Dec. 30. Games start at around 9 a.m. every day and end at about 5 p.m. Click here for the full schedule.
  • SunDome Shootout: Big boys tournament in Yakima Valley at the Sun Dome that takes place Dec. 27-Dec. 28. Some area teams: Kentlake, Archbishop Murphy, Kamiakin, Seattle Christian. Click here for the full schedule.
  • Kennedy Catholic Tournament (boys and girls) at Kennedy High School goes from Dec. 27-Dec. 29. 
    Friday’s schedule (boys): 2:30 p.m. – Ballard vs. Emerald Ridge; 4 p.m. – Kentwood vs. Cedarcrest; 5:30 p.m. – Auburn Mountainview vs. Yelm; 7 p.m. – Kennedy vs. Cascade Christian.
    Saturday’s schedule (boys): 2:30 p.m. – Ballard-Emerald Ridge loser vs. Kentwood-Cedarcrest loser; 4:30 p.m. Auburn Mountainview-Yelm loser vs. Kennedy-Cascade Christian loser; 6 p.m. – Ballard-Emerald Ridge winner vs. Kentwood-Cedarcrest winner; 7:30 p.m. – Auburn Mountainview-Yelm winner vs. Kennedy-Cascade Christian winner.
    Saturday’s schedule (girls): 11:30 a.m. – Holy Names vs. Kentwood; 1 p.m. – Kennedy vs. Emerald Ridge.
    Monday’s schedule (both division): 11 a.m. – girls 3/4th place game; 12:30 p.m. – boys 7/8th place game; 2 p.m. – boys 5/6th place game; 4 p.m. – boys 3rd place game; 5:30 p.m. – girls championship game; 7 p.m. – boys championship game.
  • Les Schwab Invitational – Rainier Beach heads back to Oregon to defend its title there. Tournament starts Dec. 27 and goes through Dec. 30. Rainier Beach plays Oregon Ciry on Dec. 27 in the opener at 4 p.m. Click here for the schedule. 
  • Skyline, Kamiak, Eastlake, Sumner and Bainbridge’s boys basketball teams head to San Diego for the Surf N’ Slam tournament from Dec. 27-30. Girls teams going: Woodinville, Sumner. Click here for the brackets and a schedule.
  • Mercer Island (boys) travel to West Hills, Calif., for the Chaminade Christmas Classic. The tournament is hosted by the California, Division 3 State Champions. The Islanders open the tournament Friday the 26th against the Saints of Santa Clara High School, located in Oxnard, California.   • Garfield’s boys basketball team is in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Prep Championship. They play Santa Fe Saturday, Dec. 27, at 9 a.m. and then Western at 3 p.m. Click here for the schedule.
  • Lake Washington, Issaquah, West Seattle, Bellarmine Prep, Evergreen, Redmond and Olympia are at the MaxPreps Desert at the Holiday Classic in Palm Springs, Calif. Click here for a full schedule. Games start Dec. 26 and go through Dec. 30th.
  • Eastside Catholic’s boys team traveled to Florida for the Gulfshore Holiday Hoopfest. The event takes place at Golden Gate High School in Naples and starts Dec. 27. The Crusaders face Immokalee on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. The tournament goes until Dec. 30 – click here for the bracket.
  • Roosevelt boys’ basketball team is in San Diego at the Under Armour Holiday Classic. The Roughriders are playing in the Senator’s Division at Santa Fe Christian High School. Click here for the bracket and click here for the tournament website.
  • Lakeside boys’ basketball team is at the D1Bound Southern California Christmas Classic, which is being played at La Salle High School. Lakeside plays La Salle on Dec. 26 at 8:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
  • Juanita, Lynnwood and Skyview’s girls basketball teams head to Oregon to play in the Nike Interstate Shootout girls basketball tournament. It starts Dec. 27 and goes through Dec. 30. Two brackets: Swoosh bracket and Les Schwab bracket. Juanita faces West Albany at 5 p.m. Saturday while Lynnwood takes on Jesuit at 8 p.m. Skyview will play Pendleton at 3:30 p.m. that day.
