No. 2 Issaquah has been playing without one of its top players for almost a month after Trevon Ary-Turner suffered a high ankle sprain. The sophomore, who’s being recruited by Washington, had last played on Dec. 12 against Eastlake. He made his return Tuesday night in grand fashion.
Ary-Turner scored 28 points, going 8-of-12 from the field, 4-of-6 from beyond the arc and 8-of-8 from the free throw line.
During Ary-Turner’s time off the court, Issaquah won all four of its KingCo games, but battled to close finishes in a few of them. The Eagles also struggled against a talented field at their holiday tournament, going 1-3.
