The Recruiting Corner

By KJ Hiramoto

Federal Way point guard Marcus Stephens II will be taking an unofficial visit to Oregon State Sunday, coach Jerome Collins said. “A lot is still up in the air,” Collins said of the sophomore point guard.  Early last December, swingman Christian Jones, a junior this year, committed to Washington for baseball.

Idaho State paid a visit to Foss wide receiver Chris “Scooby” Reynolds earlier in the week, Foss head coach Patrick Johnson said. The 6-foot-4, 205 pound senior also received an offer from the Naval Academy last April.

Earlier Friday, Steilacoom linebacker Fotu Leiato added Illinois to his long list of football scholarship offers. Leiato holds offers from UW, WSU, UCLA, Oklahoma, and San Diego State. Leiato has an official visit with WSU set for Jan. 16-18.
