National Signing Day coverage

We’re gearing up to cover national signing day and only know of signing days at seven schools (despite two e-mails to athletic directors!) So – coaches, if you have that information, please pass it along to sreyner@seattletimes.com. Here’s the information we need: times athletes will sign, names of athletes signing, sports of athletes signing, what division school (Division I, Division II, Division III, Junior college) they are signing to, where signings are taking place and phone numbers of coordinators.

We are sending our crew out to do video/social media and, of course gather material for print and will aim for 15-20 schools. If we can’t get to yours we will need you to get us the above information so we can at least have it in our online database. We also need to make sure the kids have actually signed the paper work before we report it. Also – if anyone has a standout student-athlete that has an interesting project they are working on or a neat skill outside of sports that you think we should feature please let me know.

Here’s an interactive map of the athletes we know of so far.
