Glacier Peak upsets Lynnwood

No. 7¬†Glacier Peak toppled No. 1 Lynnwood, 61-49, in a WesCo 3A South girls basketball game on Friday night. Kayla Watkins led Glacier Peak (18-2, 9-2) with 15 points and Natalie Rasmussen added 13. Sadie Mensing had 12 for the Grizzlies (17-2, 10-1) Lynnwood’s Mikayla Pivec led all scorers with 22 points.

Glacier Peak’s win is sure to shake up the state rankings. It also gives the Grizzlies the top seed in the league.
