No. 1 Issaquah could potentially be without one of its top players for the rest of the season, as sophomore Trevon Ary-Turner deals with a broken left hand.
Ary-Turner, who missed time earlier in the season due to a high-ankle sprain, has a broken knuckle on the pointer finger of his shooting hand, suffered during a 68-35 win over Skyline on Feb. 5. The injury is being evaluated on a week-to-week basis and Issaquah is hopeful Ary-Turner, who averages 16.8 points per game, will be able to return. More will be known after another X-ray is completed this week.
Issaquah faces Woodinville on Thursday at Redmond High School for the District 2 4A title. The winner of that game clinches a regional berth, while the other team plays a loser-out contest to determine the final team to move on from the district.
