Video: Mercer Island boys beat O’Dea to clinch spot in regionals

O’Dea led for much of the game, but No. 2 Mercer Island came through down the stretch to take a 44-42 victory over the Irish in the Sea-King 3A District tournament at Bellevue College. Video: Rainier Beach handles Franklin to reach Metro title game

No. 1 Rainier Beach had no trouble defeating Franklin, 91-69, to earn a spot in the Metro boys basketball title game. The Vikings will face Lakeside, who beat Seattle Prep in the other semifinal.
