WesCo champ Arlington will wait on playoff foe

Arlington’s victory over Jackson on Friday makes the Eagles the de facto WesCo champions. But Arlington will wait until Tuesday before it knows who its preliminary round playoff opponent will be.

WesCo has 3-way playoff in 3A

All three WesCo games that had an affect on the playoff standings were moved from Friday to Thursday. Glacier Peak’s victory over Everett and Mountlake Terrace’s win over Lynnwood will necessitate a 3-way playoff to be played at Shoreline Stadium on Saturday at 5 p.m.

WesCo 3A football could produce 5-way tie-breaker

With just a week to go in the regular season, the WesCo 3A playoff picture remains a cloudy mess with several scenarios still possible, including the chance that a five-way tie for second place could exist behind league champion Glacier Peak after Friday’s games.
Here’s how that could happen, sending five teams to Shoreline Stadium on Saturday at 5 p.m for a series of tie-breaker games.

ADs find simple solution if WesCo North gets complicated

The WesCo North football race could get very complicated, depending on the results of three games on Friday. The division athletic directors decided on Wednesday to simplify the potential actions surrounding the possible outcome.
In the event of a possible four-way tie for the division title, a Tennessee tie-breaker will take place between Lake Stevens and Monroe on Saturday at Monroe at 5 p.m. to determine the division’s No. 3 seed to the crossover playoff game against the South No. 3 on Oct. 29.
