Beamer hires Darren McKay to coach football

Beamer athletic director Jerry Peterson announced Wednesday that Darren McKay has been as the school’s football coach. “We are excited to have Darren join our Beamer community and lead our football program,” Peterson said. McKay, who spent 12 years at Gig Harbor, takes over for David Sundheim, who resigned last week.
