Q&A: Inside look at Shadle Park

Auburn Mountainview heads east of the mountains tomorrow to face Shadle Park in a first-round state playoff game. We don’t know too much about the Highlanders over here, so I turn to my buddy Neil Stover over at SWX to provide some answers. Stover is the producer of SWX Tonight (also an on-air talent), a local sports highlights show in Spokane and does a great job covering preps.

Davidson gets 100th girls soccer win at Auburn Mountainview

When the Auburn Mountainview Lions blanked Peninsula Tuesday night in girls soccer, 2-0, they gave coach Cary Davidson his 100th victory with the program. This is the 10th year of the program, which Davidson started when the school opened. His career record there is now 100-50-14. Mountainview is 2-2-1 this season.

Dustin Depiano succeeds Chris Carr as Auburn Mountainview girls hoop coach

Chris Carr, who started the Auburn Mountainview girls basketball program when the school opened in 2005-06, resigned at the season and former assistant Dustin Depiano has been promoted to head coach.
