Fighting hunger with the Mariners

The Mariners are holding their annual FIght Hunger Night this Saturday, when they play the Boston Red Sox at Safeco Field. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items with them to the ballpark. There will be a collection bin at all entrances of Safeco Field.

This is a good cause, and comes at a critical time for Northwest Harvest. Donations are at their lowest during the summer months. So if you’re coming to see the Mariners play the Red Sox on Saturday, and can bring some food, that would be a deed to feel good about.
