Mariners’ minor-league report, Friday, June 18

Here is the latest report.

The commissioner’s office announced today that Mariners’ minor-league pitcher Jose Mendoza was suspended 50 games after testing positive for metabolites of Nandrolone, a performance-enhancing substance.

Mendoza, 17, is on the M’s Venezuelan Summer League roster. The suspension is effective immediately. Mendoza was 1-0 with a 4.32 earned-run-average in six games, all in relief.
