Mariners’ minor-league report, June 14

Here is today’s Mariner minor-league report.

Dustin Ackley, after a day off, banged out three hits in Tacoma’s 8-3 win over Fresno. He also had a walk. Michael Saunders added a triple and double to raise his average to .349 since he was sent down. In his last eight games, Saunders is hitting .412 (14-for-34) with 10 runs, two doubles, one triple, one homer and 10 RBIs.

Jackson (AA) got blanked 2-0 by Huntsville, but Carlos Triunfel continued his hot bat with two hits. He’s hitting .293.

Dennis Raben drove in the only run for High Desert in their 3-1 loss at Stockton, his 67th RBI, which I believe leads all of the minor leagues.

Clinton had thte day off. I’m keeping this short and sweet because I have a game to cover. You can click on the report and get all the details.
