Mariners lineup vs. Tigers, 4/17

lineups0417

Unfortunately for the Mariners, Miguel Cabrera is back in the lineup for the Tigers after driving in four on Tuesday. Ominously, Cabrera is a .429 career hitter off Felix Hernandez (9-for-21), but no homers. It’s a good sign that Franklin Gutierrez and Michael Morse are able to go again tonight after coming off injuries yesterday.

Hernandez has a nine-game winning streak against the Tigers and is 9-0 with a 2.86 ERA (21 earned runs in 66 innings) over his last 10 starts vs. Detroit (including 4-0, 2.42 in four starts at Safeco). His nine-game winning streak is the longest against the Tigers since Brad Radke had a 12-game s treak from Aug. 25, 2000 to April 10, 2004.
