Friday update

The Huskies just finished practice and there was no real big news other than the return of Scott White, which had been announced earlier in the day.
Coach Tyrone Willingham has tried to downplay the White angle as much as possible today and said there was little fanfare made about White’s return by coaches or players.
“Business as usual,” Willingham said.
Indeed, the portion of the practice open to the media looked like the same old, same old.
White practiced with the backups — who took part in the first session of the split practice — just as he had been doing earlier in the week, and there seemed to be little fuss being made about his return.
Willingham said there were no new injuries Friday, a good sign for a team that can ill afford any hits to its depth.
So far, the only significant injury suffered during practice to a player expected to play a lot has been a knee sprain to Jordan Reffett, who should be back sometime next week.
Willingham also said that there have been no position changes — other than guys going from right tackle to left tackle, etc. — and that there are unlikely to be many, saying he thinks right now, most of the players are at the position that is their best fit.
