Gunheim injury could be serious

The Huskies conducted some situational scrimmaging today and invited the media to take a look.
The most newsworthy aspect of it, however, was a knee injury to defensive end Greyson Gunheim that could be serious.
Gunheim was helped off the field after being injured while playing on the kickoff coverage team and sat out the rest of the scrimmage.
“We’re not quite sure of the extent but we’ll continue to look at it to have an idea of how severe or how minor tomorrow or the next day,” said UW coach Tyrone Willingham, saying it could be serious but that more won’t be known for another day or so.
“That is what I consider an all-star player for us and any time he goes down if affects everybody,” Willingham said.
We’ll have more on the scrimmage here later.
