What a beautiful day

Woke up this morning to sunny skies and the promise of footballs in the air.
Of course, for a few quick seconds, while watching the Fox Sports Net college kickoff show, I wondered if I was in the wrong place.
In further proof that national networks just don’t have a clue what’s going on up here, they previewed the WSU-Auburn game with a big graphic saying “Washington at Auburn” and showing the Husky logo.
Just a little more ammo for all the conspiracy theories about Eastern “lack of respect” for us out here.
As for what the Huskies will actually be doing today, it’s just a little more than two hours until kickoff against San Jose State and here’s the view from down there thanks to the Mercury News.
Maybe the most interesting thing in the story is the quote from linebacker Matt Castelo saying they want to force Isaiah Stanback to throw.
Every team is going to say that until Stanback proves otherwise.
As for this site, we’ll try to keep you updated all day with thoughts from the game and a full analysis afterward and feel free at any time to add your own contribution.
