Getting away now

Obviously, the game’s getting away now. Huskies have to just try to make sure this one doesn’t get too ugly.
44-13 will take away any of the momentum built during that first half.
The turning point of the game will be the Stanback fumble.
But the Sooners are also dominating now. Oklahoma had 178 yards in the third quarter, UW had 62.
And the secondary is again getting exposed, which for all the good in this game, has to be a huge concern. I think Oklahoma is an average passing team by Pac-10 standards. Thompson’s third game as a starting QB and he’s a converted receiver, and he’s having a career day.
One rather humorous aspect to the game — the Sooner fans boo every time Tahj
Bomar does everything. That’s not a well-liked name here after Rhett Bomar was kicked off the team during the offseason.
We’ll have much more later.
