Return of the purple

Kickoff is about 45 minutes away and the most noticable difference in the Huskies is their pants. After wearing gold on the road last season they are back to purple.
I’m not much for fashion so I’ll leave it to others to decide if that’s a good move or not.
UW wore purple on the road until last season, when Tyrone Willingham brought back the gold.
As for the weather, it’s in the mid-80s and a little muggy, with a chance of rain. But walking around the stadium a few minutes ago, I didn’t think it was all that bad. Didn’t seem like it should be a huge factor today if the Huskies are really in decent shape. Guess we’re about to find out.
Isaiah Stanback doesn’t appear to have any wrap on his wrist, as he did earlier in the week, so that doesn’t figure to be much of a factor today.
And Jordan White-Frisbee didn’t make the trip, staying back in Seattle after having a flareup with his foot earlier in the week.
Speaking of White-Frisbee, one rumor going around is that he will move back to offense when he does return to the field in an attempt to save his legs. Coaches haven’t confirmed this as they have not been available since Thursday, but it seems to make a lot of sense.
Also, while Jim Owens didn’t make the trip with the team this week, Jim
Lambright did. Ran into him in the lobby of the hotel last night and he looked hearty and healthy.
We’ll post more as the game continues and have a full analysis afterward.
