Bulldogs fearing fade?

While we all know how key this Saturday’s game seems to the Washington Huskies, it’s interesting to see that in Fresno, they are talking about it in almost the same terms.
As this story from today’s Fresno Bee reports:
The Bulldogs have had a nagging tendency through the years to let one disappointing loss turn into two, having lost at least two straight games in every season that Pat Hill has been coach. Hill took over in 1997 and has a solid 73-44 record.
Obviously, either the Huskies or Bulldogs is going to be 1-2 and reeling a bit after Saturday. Since it’s UW at home, the stakes seem even higher. After this weekend, the Huskies have five of nine on the road, all in the Pac-10.
We’ll have more later today from Montlake.
