Still in sight

It seems like this is slipping away from the Huskies.
UW got just one first down in the third quarter — that on the first play on the reverse to Marlon Wood — and special teams problems again loom critical.
But UW is still in it, which is more than a lot of people thought and further proof of the improvement in this program.
UW will kick itself over dropped passes in the third quarter and the inability to score a TD on the first drive. On the other hand, USC was ready to put the game away if Chauncey Washington’s long run wasn’t called back by a penalty that looked to be away from the play.
This may be the last post until after the game due to other reporting duties, but feel free to comment here and we’ll have more later.
