Sluggish start

All that talk about a quick start looked good for a play.
But take out that 56-yard pass from Isaiah Stanback to Anthony Russo on the first play of the game and the Huskies have been dominated.
OSU has a 137-91 edge in yards and its offensive line has dominated UW’s defensive front, a somewhat disconcerting sign considering that the Husky front didn’t play well last week, either.
This is now the sixth game this season that UW has trailed.
But the Huskies may escape a little by forcing a field goal here and likely keeping this to 10-3 at worst.
Also, Dashon Goldson left with what is being called an ankle injury, so Chris Hemphill is now in at safety with Jason Wells also out. Word is Goldson will be able to return but he likely won’t be quite as effective, which won’t help things, either.
