Practice update

Just back from what was a wet beginning to UW practice today.
The media are allowed to watch the first 25 minutes, and today, that included a two-minute drill.
The first quarterback out was Carl Bonnell, who led the No. 1 offense into position for a short field goal that was converted by Michael Braunstein. Bonnell looked sharp on the drive and it stalled when a third-and-short run was stopped.
The second quarterback up was Jake Locker, who led the No. 2 offense against the No. 1 defense. But the drive ended on the second play when Locker overthrew his receiver and the pass was intercepted by Roy Lewis.
Not completely sure if Locker being the second guy out means he’s the backup right now or if they just wanted to see him in that situation. It could mean a little of both.
