Scouting ASU, and more

First off today, here are some looks at Arizona State.
Here’s a story I wrote today about the Sun Devils and the fact they haven’t been here since 1999 (the explanation on the schedule also explains why UW is going to Oregon yet again this year).
Here as well is the ASU page from the East Valley Tribune with lots of stories on ASU as well as a look at the Huskies.
Also, there continues to be a lot of discussion here about Tim Lappano, including some of you asking what he’s ever done before. Here’s his bio from gohuskies.com.
As it details, Lappano’s previous experience as offensive coordinator came at Washington State from 1989-91 when he worked with Drew Bledsoe for two years, 1997 as co-offensive coordinator at Purdue and at Oregon State from 2000-2002. That OSU stint includes the Beavers’ 11-1 season in 2000 when they beat Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
