To root, or not to root, for the Ducks

Game two of the 32-game bowl season kicks off in a few hours in Las Vegas. Here’s a breakdown from SI.com
And for UW fans, it mostly raises the question of whether to root for Oregon for Pac-10 pride, or decide that the conference’s national image isn’t worth a win by the hated Ducks.
I think I know where most of you stand given some earlier comments here — you’d rather see the Ducks lose.
Well, I think you’re going to get your wish. The Ducks might have been the most underachieving team in the conference this year other than Arizona State considering their hot start and their apparent talent, and they don’t head into this bowl game with a head of steam.
And Oregon hasn’t exactly been tearing up bowl games lately, either. Here’s a good breakdown of the Ducks from USA Today.com and as it reports, Mike Bellotti is 4-5 in bowl games at Oregon.
The SI.com breakdown has BYU winning a high-scoring affair. I think it’ll be a little lower than that. Call it BYU 28, Oregon 17.
