Stanford gets going

Someone on here asked about the Jim Harbaugh-Pete Carroll dust-up, so I thought I’d pass this story along from the San Francisco Chronicle.
Mostly, it’s a preview of spring ball for the Cardinal, a team that figures to be a unanimous pick for last place in the Pac-10 in 2007.
But at the bottom is some stuff on the Harbaugh-Carroll incident. What’s printed here is about all that I know. Obviously, Carroll will be the subject of rumors every year until he leaves USC. But without knowing for sure what jobs may be open after next season, it seems to me it’s impossible for anyone to say they know for sure what Carroll may do.
For now, the way USC is rolling, it figures to take a really good job to get Carroll away from the Trojans.
