Locker No. 1 on spring depth chart

With spring football just about to kick off, UW has released an official depth chart, and it shows Jake Locker as the No. 1 QB ahead of Carl Bonnell.
Bonnell has been recovering from off-season shoulder surgery that figures to have him at less than 100 percent for spring drills, which is probably the biggest reason Locker is listed No. 1 right now. Still, this could be a designation Locker may never give up for four years.
Here’s a link to the depth chart which is part of the team’s official spring football media guide.
Among other interesting items:
Morgan Rosborough listed No. 1 at left guard ahead of Jordan White-Frisbee;
Casey Bulyca and Ryan Tolar listed as either/or at guard;
Marcel Reece and Cody Ellis listed as starting receivers (EDIT: along with Anthony Russo);
Jordan Murchison and Matt Mosley listed as co-starters at one cornerback spot (granted, they are the only other two scholarship CBs on the roster after Roy Lewis);
Ryan Perkins listed as the starting kicker.
Aaron Mason is now called Sir Aaron Mason. We’ll try to find out what that’s all about during Tyrone Willingham’s press conference today to kick off spring drills.
The rest of it pretty much looks according to plan.
Watch for more here later following the press conference.
