No bowl for UW projected

In our continual roundup of off-season speculation we now give you this — a projection of all 32 bowl games from CollegeFootballNews.com.
And as this projection sees it, the Huskies will once again be left home for the Holidays.
The author does, however, forecast nearly unprecedented riches for the Pac-10, calling for seven conference teams to make it to bowls, something that has happened only one other time (2002).
The list includes all three of the other Northwest teams — Oregon to the Sun, Washington State to the Armed Forces and Oregon State to the Emerald — as well as USC to the national title game and UCLA to the Rose Bowl. Other Pac-10 teams listed are Cal to the Holiday and Arizona State to the Las Vegas.
The author also somewhat surprisingly picks UW non-conference opponent Hawaii for the Sugar Bowl (a lot of conventional wisdom out there that the Warriors may not play a tough enough schedule to make it into a BCS bowl this year no matter their record) and Notre Dame to the nondescript International Bowl.
—- Also, to address a question that has come up several times on here of late about getting official weight room numbers and other such information from workouts, I’m told that that kind of stuff will not be made available to the media. Often, however, such information comes anecdotally, with a coach or a player mentioning that this guy is the fastest (D’Andre Goodwin’s 4.37 40 that is apparently the best on the team, for instance) or that that guy is the strongest so we’ll get you what we can when we can. But in terms of getting an official list of across-the-board numbers, that apparently won’t be happening.
