Frederick named AFL All-Rookie

Just received a note that former UW receiver Charles Frederick has been named to the Arena Football League’s All-Rookie team.
Frederick, playing for the Kansas City Brigade, led all rookies in receptions (115), yards from scrimmage (1,518), first downs (100), all-purpose yards (2,129), rushing attempts (50), rushing yards (133), rushing touchdowns (14), and scoring (41 Touchdowns, 246 points). FrederickĀ¹s 115 receptions stood eight shy of breaking the all-time rookie record of 122, set in 2006 by Kansas City WR Jerel Myers.
Frederick’s team will continue its season in the AFL Playoffs hosting the Colorado Crush on Saturday, June 30, at 2:00 p.m on ESPN.
