Title sponsor for Apple Cup

The Microsoft Apple Cup? Or the Tully’s Apple Cup?
We don’t know for sure who the title sponsor for the Apple Cup will be. But we have confirmed tonight that there will be a title sponsor for the Apple Cup.
An official announcement will be made tomorrow (Thursday) at Husky Stadium by athletic department officials from the two schools
The two schools will commemorate the 100th playing of the rivalry on Nov. 24.
The game between the two teams has never before been sponsored but it is something of a growing trend in college athletics as a means of raising money.
The Civil War between Oregon and Oregon State has been sponsored by Northwest Dodge Dealers since 1999, a sponsorship that now encompasses all athletic events between the two schools.
When that deal was originally signed in 1999 it was worth $700,000 over four years to each school, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education.
And college football bowl games have long carried title sponsors.
UW athletic director Todd Turner has said many times that the school would have to get creative to find ways to raise additional money for such projects as the renovation of Husky Stadium, even saying at one point that he might be open to selling out partial naming rights to the this stadium.
It is not known how much money this deal will give each school.
