Saturday morning notes

Here are a few quick notes and thoughts before I head up to Husky Stadium:
— Here’s our preview story for today. Several quotes were cut out of the story due to space concerns including one from Tyrone Willingham on the goal of Boise State’s offense and all of the formations it shows. “They want to take away your defensive aggressiveness,” he said. “We have to keep our aggressiveness.”
— Here’s the preview story from The Idaho Statesman focusing on what the Broncos must do to stop Jake Locker. What I am most curious to see today is how much more diverse the UW offense is against the Broncos. It’s no secret UW reined it in once the Huskies took a big lead against Syracuse and is likely to unveil a number of other looks today. Tim Lappano has said the Huskies will have to do more downfield passing today.
Dominique Blackman sat out his first game last night, remaining indefinitely suspended.
— The Rocky Mountain News of Denver spotlighted UW in its weekly college football column this week.
More later once we get to the stadium.
