Monday morning links

Lots out there for a Monday morning so we’ll get right to it.
First, is our story today looking ahead a little bit to Ohio State. This is obviously a chance for the Huskies to make a big national statement and the players are understandably excited about the opportunity.
Here’s an interesting persepective on UW and what it has done so far from Ken Goe at the Oregonian (it’s the third item).
Here’s also a national take on UW and the Pac-10 from Wendell Barnhouse at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, sent along by a reader.
A LOOK AT OHIO STATE
Here are a few Ohio State stories:
— The Buckeyes are having trouble getting turnovers this year after that was such a strength a year ago. The Huskies are going the other way to so far, getting five through two games compared to just 14 last year, which was 111th in the country and the lowest in school history.
— Here’s a good blog on Ohio State.
— The TOs are also part of why Ohio State’s offense is struggling. Also some quotes looking ahead to UW in this story.
ALUMNI REPORT
Dashon Goldson is out for tonight’s game with an elbow injury.
Reggie Williams was surprised to find out he was on the inactive list Sunday.
Isaiah Stanback was also on the inactive list for the Cowboys.
PROGRAMMING NOTE
— Today is Tyrone Willingham’s weekly press conference, so look for notes from that, as well as the depth chart and whatever else arises later today.
